During the story we will find specific terms and names. What we can tell so far are:
- Cerra: the planet this story takes place
- Lamination: an imprisonment system which puts a prisoner into a lamination suit so that s/he doesn't have to be put behind bars therefore s/he can be useful for the society
- Lamination suit: the suit a LaMB wearing during imprisonment
- LaMB: a prisoner who is sentenced behind lamination suit for committing a crime
- Shepherd: the person "owning" the LaMB
- Eve: a female LaMB where all female LaMBs are called Eve-followed by a serial number
- Adam: a male LaMB where all male LaMBs are called Adam-followed by a serial number
